Tips for the Family Chef

I believe that all women want to be as smart as Rachael Ray when it comes to cooking. Well, most of the popular chefs or people who have great skill on cooking are learning the skill for years through the theory and practice in the kitchen. On the other word, to be a good chef, we need various experiences. Well, if we want to be an expert in the kitchen, at least in our own kitchen, we need to practice and gather as much experience as we can. To help us becoming a good home chef, we can use these beneficial tips when we are in the kitchen.

The first tip is about cheese. Who does not like this dairy product? It even becomes a mandatory ingredient in so many foods. For us who love to buy cheese in a big size, then we might have a problem with the storage. To keep the cheese flavor and keep it for days or even months, we can wrap the cheese in a plastic, make sure that the wrapping is perfectly tight so there will be no mold grows. After that, we can keep the cheese in refrigerator so it will not melt. The second tip is about honey. I believe that all kitchens should have a bottle of honey because not only it can be a sweetener in our food or syrup, but it can also become a stamina and antibody enhancement. We might think that honey is not as sweet as sugar, but actually the good honey is sweeter than sugar, so make sure that we use less honey in our pastry so it will not be too sweet.

Spices are a mandatory ingredient when we want to make Family Cooking, especially Asian foods. Some of us might have a problem in the storage because spices have a humid character that makes it only stays for several days. Most of us think that refrigerator is the best place to keep everything, but unfortunately it is totally wrong. We should not put spices in the refrigerator because it will only enhance its humidity. Keep our spices in a rack, and move it frequently so it will not stay in a constant temperature in a long time.
