Reliability can be seen on the ability of this product to keep dust and water, Kurashino Camera able to survive even when dropped from a height of 1 meter, camcorders with waterproof feature of this work is in the water to a depth of 1.5 meters from the surface of the sea. Actually SDR-SW20 is not much different with the SDR-S7, the different only waterproof pad at it feature off course, the sensor  use CCD size of 1 / 6 inches with a number of effective pixels around 400,000 pixels while the lens is used able to perform up to 10x optical zoom.

As well as cases in which experienced SDR-S7, SDR-SW20 is also experienced a few problems in low light conditions, however, its performance under the water even good enough. Shooting Results in the water almost can’t be distinguished with the above water.
